BREEDING
1. Mares must be 4 yrs old to breed and raced at least 6 times.
2. Stallions must be 4 to breed and must meet the requirements to stud. (not every stallion should be a stud so there are requirements to be met)
~~~~~~How do i Qualify my Stallion as a Stud?~~~~~~~~~ 5 Graded stakes wins ( one must be Grade 1) or 2 Graded stakes wins ( one must be Grade 1) and 8 stakes placing(Win Place or Show) or at least 5 Graded stakes wins and 5 stakes(including Ungraded) placing(Win Place or Show)
3. Gelding sterilizes a stallion for good so make sure before you do it. Sometimes a horse that doesn't race well has a complete turn around when gelded, since he doesn't have his mind on the fillies anymore.
4. Under the appropriate year there is a list of available studs. Unless the specific post for that stallion says otherwise, you may just post your mare information under the appropriate stallion. Please include; Stable Name Mare Name, Age, Color: Mare Bloodlines: Foal Name(s):
5. Breeding season runs from Feb-July in the game year
7. All Stallions will retire from breeding after they are 15 (this means 15 is the last year to breed them) . They will all die at 20.
8. All Broodmares will retire form breeding after they are 18 (this means 18 is the last year to breed them). They will all die at 20.
For any stable that has a Good stallion but wont qualify for Game stud, we are making a new option, you can make him a Private Stable stud, for your own personal use, but he has to qualify these few different rules,
1. He has to have placed in 5 ungraded thru G-1 races , that means anywhere from winning to 3rd place
2. He can only be used for your own mares, you can later sell the mare in foal or the foal if you want to at a later date.
3. You can not do this if all you want to do is sell these babies, that would defeat the purpose of a private stable stud.
4. If by some chance his foals turn out to be awesome horses, we can look into allowing a specific number of outside mares from other stables to breed to him.
5. If you have a horse you want to qualify for this Private Stable Stud allowance, I will need the following information his number name age the qualifying races run in and the place he came in, in each race.
